Shin pads protect your shins and knees from pucks, sticks, and falling. They consist of hard plastic shells (for shin and knee) and thick padding on the inside. SizingThey should be long enough to reach from the top of your skates to just above your knee. Shin pads are measured in inches; size is measured from the ankle bone to mid knee cap. The top of the shin pad should go under the bottom edge of the hockey pant leg. The bottom edge should be behind the skate tongue. |
